GreenTube - a YouTube download manager

With GreenTube you can download YouTube videos from internet. This little applications is written in yab and use the Phyton language to download YouTube files.

To run yab applications you need libncurses.so. Download it and copy the library into "/boot/home/config/lib".

If you dont have Phyton installed on your system allready, download it here and unpack the file to "/boot".

To download a video from YouTube, visit the website and copy the address of the video out of the address line (Shortcut: Alt+C).

In GreenTube select Add Video and past the address you have copied on youtube into the textfield (Shortcut: Alt+V).

To download the video press on Download All. If the download is running you see the ">> Running" information in the Status column.

On the right bottom corner you can select the video format for the download.
|
|
The version of GreenTube we used for this tutorial have no process bar, only the Status of Running in the Columnbox. To see that GreenTube is allready working, open the home folder and look at the download file (size).

If GreenTube finish the download the video start automatically with the favorite media player.
