How to use Robin Hood (Zeta) under Haiku
System: Haiku I have seen some screenshots at the italian Haiku Usergroup of the game Robin Hood - Legend of Sherwood by Spellbound (Demo Version / Zeta). As an owner of a Full version of the Game i start to test this by myself. Long speech short sense, Haiku started and the Robin Hood CD inserted and mounted. Here there was the first problem, Haiku dont know .zpkg files. There was no tool to open it. I found a hint on the website of the Italian Haiku Usergroup, how to unpack the .zpkg file. You only need the terminal command unzip to do that:
After this i change into the gamefolder and start the game running the robin binary (The binary Robin Hood does not run):
![]() Unfortunately the fullscreen mode does not function and you get some problems with the mouse, because the pointer of the mouse jumps out of the window. You can reduce this problem then you place the gamewindow on the left edge of the desktop. To scroll the screen in the game use the direction keys. I dont know if this game is completly playable doing this, because the game is sometimes hectically. Using the keyboard keys are very slow. If anyone found a way to play the game on Haiku in fullscreen, let me know it. I will add this information into this tutorial.
