Changing Your BeOS Shortcut Key by Kevin H. Patterson / 11-15-2001 Supplemental Information Changing the keyboard "shortcut key" that BeOS uses is very simple. People who are used to the Microsoft Windows family of operating systems will probably prefer [Ctrl] as their shortcut key, while those familiar with Apple Macintosh systems will probably prefer [Alt]. First, open the "Menu" Preferences Panel from the Be Menu.  Now, choose the shortcut key of your choice, by clicking on your selection.  That's it. You can close the "Menu" Preferences Panel by clicking the "Close Box" in the upper left-hand corner of the window. You can return to the previous page by clicking the "Back" button in your web browser. |
